Texans backpack for my IV Pump from Arthur Andrew Medical + they included a few Extras!!!! Brought tears to my eyes, was such a nice thing to do :)

   
 

When I started my lifestyle transformation in January by going to #HawaiiNaturopathic one of the #supplements that was included in my regimen is the #ArthurAndrew #NeprinolAFD. When I placed my last order they had seen my blog about wanting a #Texans #FanniePack. Today I checked the mail and there it was a #TexansBackpack that works just like a Fannie pack by looping it through a belt and actually is the exact perfect size for my IV pump for my #IVC!!!!!! Brought tears to my eyes, nicest thing somebody has done for me in a while 🙂 

There was a super awesome letter from Aaron Gillam and also included a few extras that I am excited to learn about also!! ( #SyntolAMD , #DevigestADS , #Floraphage)

Bucket List here I go!!! Hunting for gold!!

          #BucketList here I come!!!!! Checking off a long time bucket list item this weekend!!!!! So excited… Feeling a little dorky but we will see who is really dorky when I find GOLD… Maybe too much being sick from #chemo over the last 3 years and watching to many reality shows like  #GoldRush ,#IceColdGold , #theCurseOfOakIsland ,  #BeringSeaGold , #YukonGold ,  etc….. Lol 🙂  

At least I am leaving the house and #livinglife finally!!!

Traffic sucks!!! Flying cooler & smashed smoothies :(

        Traffic sucks!!!!! Had to slam on my brakes on #Beltway8 and my cooler went flying accross the car breaking my #smoothies inside!!! Soooo annoying!!!

Thank god I don’t have to deal with traffic much, it’s literally bad for your health!  There are so many studies that talk about how much it effects our health in a negative way.  I personally would live in a box if meant not having to deal with #traffic, lol.

Got a Massage finally (Motivated by our donor Debbie w/ Massage Heights!!! Lots of benefits for Cancer Patients like myself :)

        

I have had a #MassageHeights membership forever but found for a long time I was exhausted and had a hard time getting the energy and motivation to leave the house (when on #chemo).  I hadn’t really thought about getting a massage lately until one of our long time donors Debbie (Massage Heights) commented on my post about coming in for a #massage…. So that’s exactly what I did yesterday!!!!! It was awesome 🙂  

Thank you Debbie for getting me moving and over to Massage Heights!!

Frankenstein hair!!!!!! (lol)

Found an organic / green hair salon called #TheGreenSpotSalon to get my small amount of hair lightened a little for the #golftournamentforacure !!!!!!  DeAnn the owner was wonderful and extremely knowledgable about ways to be healthier and safer when using products on your hair… love my new hair!!!! 🙂

Incredibly excited about having HAIR and not feeling like death at the tournament tomorrow!!!!!  Also….. my favorite makeup artist Wendy (#MakeupByWendy) texted me the other day asking if I wanted my makeup done, which of course I do, lol.  She has donated all of her services since day 1 when we started and the extra bonus I made a great friend for life 🙂 

 

If any of our golfers are paying attention to this, don’t forget to check out our celebrity auction that ends tonight.  I was joking around with the girls (at JH) that I want to bid on some of these awesome people and they can be my assistant for the day, lol.   It’s definitely a rare opportunity to have the chance to spend the day with an awesome celebrity 🙂

Trying to get my hair to GROW!!!! Shopping for health products at Moveable Feast

My hair is being stubborn, lol.  On a mission to make it grow.  Picked up a few products to try at #MoveableFeast .   Some of the stuff I will be experimenting with: #SuperGrow Hair Gel , #Botanigel Hair Builder , #Biotene H-24 and #AloeVera Organic Oil.

I also drink #alkalinewater so picked up 2 cases. #Melatonin for sleeping.

#Curamed & #Curamin for cancer and inflammation.

#GrainBrain book for me 🙂

Awesome health food store, great staff and very helpful !!  I am a frequent visitor now, lol.

IV’s at Home!!!!!!! Delivery arrived yesterday!!!!!!!!! (vitamin c)

Seriously one of the happiest days I have had in years!!!!!!!!!!   Thank god for my sister, she helped me get this done and I am incredibly THANKFUL!! This is going to make a major improvement to my quality of life!!!!!!!!!! 🙂   I have been in and out of the hospital for years now, struggled with energy and found maintaining my new health regimen is very challenging when constantly on the go and at a clinic (for iv c).  Soooo… I can now look forward to knowing this will give me a little portion of my life back!!!!

Appointment with Dr. Powers.. Working on Stress, Mindfulness, Cognitive Therapy, etc…!!!!

Back at #MDAnderson again today with Dr. Powers at #IntegratedMedicine!!!  Have been working with her once a week for a while on #stress , #mindfulness , #CognitiveTherapy , etc….. 

Pre January I missed appointments frequently and now actually look forward to seeing my Doctor every week!!! She has given me so many tools and ways to communicate and deal with stress more effectively.  Cancer can be extremely stressful so having a therapist for me has really improved my quality of life in many ways.

Thankful for another awesome doctor on my team 🙂

Getting veggies into smoothie for breakfast on the road to MD Anderson

#Veggies for breakfast….. So it’s always hard to imagine how to get veggies into your breakfast and this is my way.  Strawberries, blueberries and spinach smoothie on the road back to #mdanderson this morning again.  Trying to live #thecancerfreeway takes a lot of planning and prep work but soooooo worth it!!!!!
